Well-Read Door Wreath... How "smart"!

Just wanted to quickly point you to a blog that I'm new to called Dreyne's...

Donna started the blog in June, and if you haven't stopped by yet, please do!

Donna's latest post features a wreath that I

just love

(and might pay dearly for if I could buy it ready-made).

Hint, hint, hint... :)

It combines all the elements I love -- in particular OLD BOOK PAGES!!

I have a treasure-trove of old books, book pages, and ledgers and ledger pages....

I cannot believe that post was done in July of 2008! It doesn't seem like more than a few months ago... where DOES the time go?

Well, with my stash of old paper/pages, imagine the wreaths I could make!!

Oh shoot!

That's right...

I would have to actually make them...

And that requires ...

time....

UGH...

Well, I'm sure there are plenty of you sweet girls out there who might enjoy whipping one of the wreaths up -- (and one for me, too?).

Hint, hint, hint...

Just kidding...

Kind of.

Hope you're having a great week and are planning a wonderful September weekend.

Anyone up for a Pumpkin Spice Latte?

:)

Yours In Vintage Ephemera Addiction,
~Ruth~

P.S. -- Donna maintains TWO blogs -- the one mentioned above, AND this one: Horton's Of Tipton.

You'll LOVE this one, too!!

LOVE that wreath! I think I might just try and make this....maybe! It does look like a lot of work.

Oh, and I really like that song. I heard it a while back, can you believe that is Scarlett Johansson?

What a great idea! I agree the time factor is the biggest milestone to overcome. Good luck!
