Uh Oh! I Think I May Have Started Something Here!

After my post last week featuring some pics from my kitchen

I got a comment from Lou Cinda, a fellow blogger, who writes Tattered Hydrangeas,
who had also been toying with the idea of
painting her cabinets
and was ready
to take the plunge!

After a few fun emails back and forth, she let me know that the paint had been
bought and she was ready to
JUST DO IT!

She emailed today to let me know it was done!

{SEE?  I WASN'T KIDDING WHEN I SAID IT REALLY WAS EASY!}

HERE is a link to her post showing HER before and after pictures!!

Ya'll, if you have thought painting your cabinets was not a task you
are up to tackling, I hope you'll be encouraged by
YET ANOTHER BLOG-GAL who did it!

Listen...
you gotta believe me when I tell you,
if

I

can do it,

ANYONE can!

:)

Hope you get inspired to take a look around and see if there is anything
that you'd like to revamp with a coat of paint!

I am so impressed with your cabinets! They look fabulous especially with the green walls. Your kitchen is so bright and cheery - and I love all the pretty accessories.
I have really enjoyed going through all your previous posts and seeing all the corners of your lovely home.
I painted my cabinets last year and recently took off the doors and it was the best things I've done. Now I can see all the pretty things that I collect. I look forward to following along!

Have a wonderful evening!

Great!
We paint cabs for a living (we do all the cool glazes on the tops of them) but really, I wish we did more business, there are so many INCREDIBLE things we can do to a kitchen cabinet door... especially for people with "cool taste" :) it's too bad people are not more daring with old ugly oak cabs-
Brava to you for tackling this! It's alot of work!

I also want to say "Thank you". I got my order from you today, and really appreciate the extra gift you included. Thanks so much!

I saw Lou Cinda's cabinet post and yours previously. I'm with Lou Cinda on the painting of them, although I think I will probably wait until Fall now when it's a bit cooler. I'm inspired by both of you!

Ruth, thank you so much for the feature on your wonderful blog! It means so much to me....

PLUS your invaluable help and assistance and a swift kick in the bootie to get me started!! If it wasn't for you, I would still be sitting here "thinking" about doing it!

Have a great weekend!!

Lou Cinda :)
